Juice to fly past Earth for third gravity assist

Juice’s journey began almost 3.5 years ago, with its April 2023 launch from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana.

To avoid needing enormous amounts of fuel to get it onto the right final track, Juice will make two further flybys of Earth.

This interaction will set it up for a final Earth flyby in January 2029, putting Juice onto the optimum path to intercept Jupiter in July 2031.

NASA Discovery Reveals Complex Water Systems on Early Mars

When NASA’s Perseverance rover reached the inner edge of Mars’ Jezero Crater in September 2023, mission scientists were surprised by what they found.

Called the “Margin Unit,” the geologic area stretches along the shoreline of an ancient Martian lake, so they expected sedimentary rocks, which would have formed as layers of sand piled on top of each other over millennia.

Igneous rocks are excellent record-keepers, particularly because mineral crystals within them preserve details about the precise moment they formed.

Jio opposes TRAI’s 80% network slicing threshold, says it could trigger false congestion alerts

In its September 15 counter-comments to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) consultation on amendments to the 2024 Quality of Service (QoS) regulations, Jio opposed mandatory prior notification of network slicing and restrictions based on an 80% Physical Resource Block (PRB) utilisation threshold.

Airtel similarly opposed TRAI’s proposed 21-day advance notification requirement, arguing that it could delay enterprise deployments, emergency services and other specialised applications requiring rapid network configuration.

The Chhattisgarh High Court has held that the mere fact that a husband made repeated visits to his wife's parental home or issued a legal notice expressing willingness to resume matrimonial cohabitation cannot, by itself, establish that the wife's refusal to return was without reasonable cause under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

The wife, however, alleged that she had been subjected to ill-treatment, manhandling and demands for a Creta car and ₹5 lakh in cash by the husband and his family members.

A coalition of conservation organisations have urged Vantara to make its temporary moratorium on wild animal imports permanent, warning that a time-limited pause could actually spur stockpiling by traffickers.

Vantara, meanwhile, has said that future imports will require animals to come from registered or CITES-accredited facilities, and will comply with a government Standard Operating Procedure still awaited from a Supreme Court-mandated process.

UAE Property: ‘Are you paying too much in service charges for your apartment?’

In reality, service charges should always form part of the investment calculation because they will affect both your annual expenditure and, in some cases, how attractive the property is to future buyers.

If the developer confirmed that the account currently receiving payments is not yet the approved regulatory account, it is understandable that owners would seek reassurance regarding how those funds are being safeguarded and whether they will ultimately be transferred into the prescribed account once registration is complete.

Single-cell approaches that facilitate analysis of the molecular changes that occur within individual cells have been particularly helpful in understanding the interplay between the different cell types found within complex tissues, as well as the roles of those cells in various disease contexts.

After per-library count matrices were generated, cell by gene counts were aggregated into a single count matrix, which has 8,898,978 cells by 60,605 genes.

After probe hybridization, the samples were rinsed with PBST and incubated with Xenium post hybridization wash buffer at 37 °C for 30 min.

The Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has held that an order modifying an interim direction in a pending writ petition, while keeping the substantive issues open for adjudication, does not constitute a “judgment” within the meaning of Clause 12 of the Letters Patent and is therefore not amenable to an intra-court appeal.

The order merely modified an earlier interim restraint while expressly keeping the tender finalisation subject to the result of the writ petition.
